Privacy Policy

The Hisab Khata app is operated by ALISHA SOFT IT. This policy explains what information the app collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes. Hisab Khata is an offline shopkeeper ledger, cashbook, stock and sales app. Your business information is yours; the app does not send it to us.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any information. Everything you enter in the app (ledger names, phone numbers, addresses, transactions, products, sales, purchases, cashbook entries, notes, shop name and SMS template) stays only inside the app's own database on your phone.
- Internet: the app does not use the internet. It has no
INTERNETpermission. - Accounts: there is no sign-in or account. No server of ours is connected to this app.
- Third-party services: there are no ads, analytics or crash-reporting services.
2. How we use information
Your information never reaches us, so we do not use it. The app uses it only on your phone to show your ledgers, accounts and reports, show due-date reminder notifications, create backup files, and prepare invoices and due-payment SMS text. Your information is not sent anywhere for sale, rental or advertising.
3. Public content and sensitive information
This app has no public listings, and your information is not shown to other users. However, your ledgers may contain personal details such as customer names, phone numbers and addresses. You are responsible for the information you keep about other people; think carefully before giving a backup file or PDF to anyone.
Backup files are not encrypted. Do not give them to strangers, and keep them somewhere safe (for example your own Google Drive).
4. Who we share or process information with
We do not share, sell or rent your information, because we do not have it. Whenever information leaves the app, it happens only by your own choice:
- PDF invoices/statements: if you send them through WhatsApp, SMS, email or another app, they go through the app you choose, and that app's policy applies.
- Due-payment SMS: tapping "Send SMS" or the due-reminder screen opens your phone's own messaging app with the customer's number and message pre-filled. The message is sent only when you press Send there, through your mobile carrier (carrier charges may apply). The app itself never sends or reads SMS and has no SMS permission.
- Backup folder: if you choose a folder such as Google Drive or an SD card, copies of your backup are written there, and that provider's own privacy policy applies.
5. Data security
Your data stays in the app's own database on your phone. The app offers an optional app lock (PIN or fingerprint). Fingerprint verification is done by the phone's operating system; the app never sees or stores your fingerprint. The app-lock PIN is never included in backup files. Android cloud backup is disabled for this app. If your phone is lost or falls into someone else's hands, your data may be at risk, so keep your phone's screen lock and the app lock turned on.
6. Data retention
We keep no data. Information on your phone stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. The in-app daily automatic backup is kept in the app's private folder and is deleted when you uninstall the app. Backups you save in a folder you choose (Drive, SD card, etc.) stay until you delete them yourself.
7. Account and data deletion
The app has no accounts, so we hold no data that could be deleted on our side. Uninstalling the app removes all data inside it. You can also delete individual ledgers or entries from within the app. Backup files you keep elsewhere (Drive, SD card, etc.) can be deleted by you.
8. Children
The app is not directed to children, and we do not collect information from anyone, including children.
9. Permissions and device access

The app has no INTERNET or SMS permission.
10. Your rights and contact
Your data is on your phone, so you can view, change or delete it from within the app. For privacy questions, write to admin@alishasoftit.com or use the website's Contact page. Do not send passwords, national ID numbers, bank information or unnecessary sensitive data through the contact form.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's features or legal requirements change. The updated version and date will be published on this page.
